Content Description:
In this training we will discuss ways that mental health can be impacted by gender inequity and how to help our client with this by using evidence based strategies and techniques.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to describe 2 ways gender inequities can impact the mental health of women.
Participants will be able to describe 2 clinical support strategies drawn from at least 3 psychotherapy modalities that can be used with the perinatal population.
Participants will be able to learn about and practice 3 behavioral strategies to help create a more equitable domestic dynamic.
Participants will be able to identify at least 3 macro-level advocacy strategies to benefit the perinatal population and mothers in general.
