Continue Learning Beyond the Conference

Perinatal AND Perimenopausal: Supporting Women through these (Sometimes Simultaneous) Life Transitions
This Intermediate Level program will explore how today, women in the United States are becoming mothers later in life compared to previous decades. More than 100,000 moms give birth each year while in their 40s – a period of life when they are likely in, or about to be in, perimenopause, the phase of reproductive health in which women’s hormones fluctuate, their menstrual cycle changes, and their identities shift. Perimenopause is a particularly vulnerable time for mood symptoms, with women at twice the risk of experiencing depression than at other life stages like pre-menopause. The perinatal period, too, is one when women are vulnerable to mood issues, with up to one in five experiencing a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder. So how can therapists help women who are both perinatal and perimenopausal?

A lot of thoughtfulness went into choosing the location for our 2025 Conference. Here are a few reasons we chose Dallas, Texas.
Dallas earned one of the top-10 spots in WalletHub's annual ranking of the "Most Diverse Cities in the U.S. (2024),”. The report compared 501 U.S. cities across 13 metrics in five categories that encompass "diversity" across socioeconomic, cultural, economic, household, and religious factors
With two major airports, Dallas has over a THOUSAND flights coming into town EACH DAY. This helps makes flights more accessible to attendees.
We were able to choose a conference location that is central to restaurants and other hotels. This allows attendees more flexibility in dining and hotel accommodations.
Dallas, Texas is more centrally located within the United States which we hope helps more attendees feel comfortable with travel distance.
Dallas, Texas is within a more comfortable elevation for those with specific health concerns that may require this accommodation.
We want everyone to feel comfortable attending our conference! All are welcome! If for some reason you can not attend in person, please feel free to utilize the virtual option.

5. Once your complaint is submitted, we will respond as quickly as possible. We guarantee a response, using the contact information you provide, within 2 business days.
