In this course clinicians will learn how to assess for maternal anger, identify common triggers and distortions that lead to maternal anger, and utilize therapeutic techniques to treat anger and strengthen relationships.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  1. Utilize 2 or more screening tools and self-report measures to assess for Maternal Anger

  2. Identify 3 or more common triggers for Maternal Anger

  3. Identify 5 cognitive distortions that lead to Maternal Anger 

  4. Utilize 3 therapeutic techniques to effectively treat Maternal Anger

  5. Utilize 3 therapeutic techniques to strengthen client’s communication skills and improve relationships
