Content Description:

From 1973 until 2022, people who no longer desired to be pregnant in the United States were able to access a safe & legal procedure to eradicate the state of pregnancy. Abortion is complex not only for the society & culture we are steeped in, but also for the individuals & families that experience them. As clinicians, we need to consider how we can best help our clients around this issue with the recognition that there are laws that complicate our care.  Additionally, there are many myths about what occurs post-abortion psychologically. This workshop will speak to the spectrum of emotional outcomes after an abortion.

Presenter: Julie Bindeman Psy-D
